Lorena graduated from the Acupuncture Program at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton. She is a Registered Acupuncturist with the College & Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA). She also holds a degree as Doctor in Veterinary Medicine, from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City, where she graduated with Honors. She brings more than 15 years of experience in medical knowledge treating pain and anxiety.
After visiting family in Edmonton, she fell in love with the city and the River Valley and decided, along with her husband, to raise their twins here.
Lorena has experience treating chronic pain, neck, lower back pain, migraine headaches, insomnia, anxiety, autoimmune, inflammation and, gastrointestinal issues. She has a special interest in women’s health, perimenopause and autoimmune disease. She loves incorporating auricular acupuncture to her treatments, among other modalities, like guasha, moxa and cupping. Dr. Mecca Fayad received her education in San Jose California where she graduated from Palmer West Cum Laude in 2014. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Alberta. During her time in chiropractic school she received the Clinical Excellence Award signifying outstanding service to patients as nominated by faculty members.

Vincent completed his Bachelor’s of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2010 and continued his studies there for his Master’s of Physiotherapy, completed in 2012.
